The Motto of our home is: “Live Pure, Speak True, Right Wrong and Follow the King”, which emphasizes the basic tenets of Christianity. We are going to live morally upright lives, speak the truth all the time, correct the wrongs in society and tread in the footsteps of Christ the Saviour.

I am reading a book titled "Raising a Modern Day Knight" and it is incredible. It is challenging to me as a Dad b/c I was never shown what it is to be a man. If you have sons or you are a grown man who feels you could use some guidance, I encourage you to read this book.

I have three sons that I pray for nightly that they will grow up to be strong Christian Men but I have forgotten that I must show them what this looks like through my walk.

The greatest single cause of atheism...

Brennan Manning reflected upon this thinking when he said, "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips and walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."

We are in need of a revolution. It's time we wake up and realize what it is all about. Please pray that Christians will be the light that leads a lost world to Christ.

Matthew 7:12-14

The Narrow and Wide Gates

13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Salt and Light

13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
